Brisbane thief threatens six employees with knife during multiple robberies
Police are hunting a thief who has threatened employees at bottle shops and service stations with a box cutter and robbing them across North Brisbane overnight.
The man involved in the north Brisbane robberies is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 175cm tall with a bald head. He was wearing a red bandanna with white detail over his face, a grey jumper, dark shorts and white shoes.
The man has stolen cash, energy drinks and cigarettes at stores in Aspley, Clayfield, Windsor and Alderly in about seven hours, police said.
Police believe the man began his stealing spree at a bottle shop on Gympie Road in Aspley just before 11pm on Saturday and demanded cash from an employee while producing the box cutter.
He then fled on foot with cash heading northbound on Gympie Road.
Just more than three hours later, he threatened an employee at a service station on the same road with a box cutter asking for cash.
The employee did not comply, and the man left the store with a pack of energy drinks, walking towards Maundrell Terrace about 2.40am.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
Twenty minutes later, he hit a service station on Sandgate Road at Clayfield using the same tactic, threatening an employee with a box cutter before stealing cash and leaving.
About 5.30am, the man stole cash and cigarettes at a service station on Lutwyche Road at Windsor before approaching a service station at Enoggera Road in Alderley 15 minutes later.
He approached the counter with a number of grocery items before demanding cash from an employee.
The man left the store with cash and was last seen walking along Enoggera Road.
About 5.50am, the man entered a service station at Browns Dip Road on Enoggera before producing a box cutter and demanded cash from an employee.
The employee complied and the man left the store on foot with cash and tobacco.
No one was injured during these robberies.

He was wearing a red bandanna with white detail over his face, a grey jumper, dark shorts and white shoes.
Police believe the man pictured below may be able to assist with ongoing investigations and urge anyone with information regarding this manĂ¢s identity to come forward.
